Do you use CoPilot at all? Maybe just remove CoPilot from installed Apps? (Noting that it seems to rise as a zombie and needs to be killed again, repeatedly).

Yes, it is not installed. I do not use it and get rid of it (and Bing!) wherever possible.

Yes, I've used those in the past and actually reran them this morning to see if it would work on the new button that just appeared in Outlook. No dice.

that is not good to hear being unable to disable or remove copilot
the 4 Windows systems that i have all use thunderbird as their email program

i am sure someone on the forum has found a way to remove it.

From the linked tutorial - the second marooned colored box...
This tutorial will no longer work to disable/remove the new Copilot app that can be uninstalled instead. It will still disable/remove Copilot from Search and Edge.

CoPilot / AI is farming data from your email if it's in Outlook. Do you really want AI scaping all your data? Even if MS claims it's "private"... we know how solid that word is these days.
