Just a heads up, a new version of Translucent Taskbar is available in the MS Store this morning. It requires a Windows reboot after installation.

The official app is called TranslucentTB in the MS Store. That's the only one

You can do this manually.

run-> regedit->Hkey_Current_User->Software->Microsoft->Current version->Explorer->Advanced
Right-click anywhere on an empty space
Select ‘New’
DWORD 32 bit value
Give it a name - TaskbarAcrylicOpacity
Value Data - 0
Close Regedit
Taskbar
Right-click ‘Task Manager’
Windows Explorer
Restart

That’s all there is to it.

No matter what I do, I cannot get this to start with 25H2. It will run if I click on it. I did not have this issue a few days ago.

It says that it would start when login. But I removed it. How do you get in startup apps and task manager?

Method 2: Manual Shortcut Creation
This method is useful if the tray icon option is grayed out or doesn't work.

  1. Locate: the TranslucentTB executable file.

  2. Create: a shortcut to the file by right-clicking it and selecting "Create shortcut".

  3. Press: the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog.

  4. Type: shell:startup and press Enter to open the Startup folder for the current user.

  5. Drag: the TranslucentTB shortcut you created into this folder.
