I use Explorer Patcher and Open Shell and Mica for Everyone without any issue. I too had issues when I upgraded my test laptop (see my 1st system specs) to 22H2. When I right-click on the taskbar Explorer crashed and restarted. I uninstalled both Open Shell and Explorer Patcher, restarted and then installed latest version of both. Bug fixed.

He is not supposed to make his software compatible with beta versions that can change any time. He should keep it compatible only with stable official releases. Anyone rushing to adopt a beta version does this at his own risk.

Yes and that is also valid for Release Previews. Apart from changes in the code base by Microsoft those revisions are not always released with corresponding symbols package which Explorer Patcher need. This symbol dependency is explained in the FAQ and is repeated over and over again in this 48 page thread as well.

Hello,
I'm looking for a way to change the Windows 10-style Start Menu language, which is partially in English and partially translated into my default Windows language (Polish).
It looks like this:
ExplorerPatcherStartLanguage.jpg
Main icons, like Power, Settings, All Apps, Pinned Tiles etc are in English, but power submenu is in Polish. Also all other W10-styled parts of the UI are translated (like WIFI menu, Calendar etc.). Same with the "Properties" item for Explorer Patcher options in taskbar context menu is translated.

My understanding is that ExplorerPatcher is using some default strings provided by Windows, but I don't understand why it's using English strings, when other language is set as default. I should add this is a clean Windows 11 22H2 installation with Polish language only (ISO made with UUP Dump tool).

I would appreciate any help in finding how to translate the Start Menu main items (Power, Settings etc.) to my selected UI language. Thank you.

Windows 11 22H2 22621.674
ExplorerPatcher 22621.608.51.3

You should not have any issue for a single language installation. I had a similar issue when I had installed the English US Windows version and then installed the Greek language pack to change the interface to Greek. Some text was mixed with Greek and English. After installing all available updates from Windows Update, eventually the issue fixed and all text was in Greek. I don't know what to do in your case. Try changing the language in Explorer Patcher to English and then back to Polish.

Language packs come via Microsoft Store in the form of "Localized interface package for language xxx" so try searching for updated apps there.

Thank you, but I don't see any language option in Explorer Patcher settings or corresponding registry branch. And I have all the updates from Windows Update and Store installed already.
Language packs come via Microsoft Store in the form of "Localized interface package for language xxx" so try searching for updated apps there.
Thank you for your suggestion, but I already have all the updates installed, including Windows Update and Store.
