New X-Lite Optimum is out!

I installed Optimum 11 24H2 [Pro] v4.4b • OS Build 26100.2033 on a laptop with Windows 11 Pro but it won't activate. MS seems to think the hardware has changed. Anyone else had this?

I went to the activation page and had to hit the activation button. But I believe I had activated my MS account first.

I changed from a local to a MS account and rebooted but then I was unable to log in!

There's a "guide" on his site, not sure if it would help.

Before signing into a Microsoft account, you'll need to enable UAC (User Account Control) first. In the Desktop's 'Extras' Folder, you'll find a registry file to turn on UAC in the 'Fix Xbox Sign in' subfolder. Run the UAC On registry file, followed by restarting your PC to complete changes.

I installed and it's running a little slow. I thought it would be faster. My other PC that has the normal Win 11 Preview Release runs faster. Something ain't right here or I'm doing something wrong.

I installed it again and opened an admin command prompt. I entered slmgr /ato and it worked. No messing with UAC.

Do a partial name search, and you should hopefully get the app you want:

Looks like the fifth item is the one you want, so winget install "RevoUninstaller.RevoUninstaller". I like to put quotes around the ID; probably not strictly necessary.

Edit: Oops, you said Pro. winget install "RevoUninstaller.RevoUninstallerPro"

I've just recently gotten on the winget train. I often log into a PC at work that I've never used before, and I need to do some PowerShell work, for example. I have a script ready to go, to install VS Code, the PowerShell extension, some git tools. I can log into a new (to me) PC, and be up and running in a couple minutes, just like it was my own laptop. It's a good thing, as Martha would say.

After install i use the utiliy from Chris Titus to tweak things.
It can install programs, create auto login and change the search from Bing etc.

Long time ago, @kelper. It was neato, but I didn't have much use for it. I do things remotely when I can, so it's not like carrying Windows in my pocket does me much good.

It is a command line you run in powershell (can be done in terminal but that is not in XLite) and then you have options to tweak, install programs, run OOSU etc.
