I missed V3 too but I have sooo many computers keeping me busy now that it's just not on the radar for me anymore.

I have X-Lite version 11 4.4b when it first came out and have been itching to try the latest version 26H1, but even downloading the pack it will not update at all. I went through the files and discovered that the update pack requires something that does not exist... windows.dll, for one. The Setup is not used for updating or in-place installing, the packs are for updating versions that you already have installed and not for updating from earlier versions. Unless, I am wrong in this, maybe I am missing something, but can someone help me update my 24H2 version to 26H1 without clean installation? I need to keep all my files and settings intact.

I don't think you can. Best to back up everything and install 26H1

Not sure why anyone with an AMD/Intel based PC/Latop would want to attempt upgrading to Windows 11 26H1, which is not a standard feature update for existing Windows 11 PCs. It's a hardware-optimized release provided to OEMs to provide support for next-generation silicon powered Windows systems, specifically the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 processors and isn't even offered as an upgrade for users of the first edition of Qualcomm Snapdragon X Systems.

X-Lite 26H1 is for AMD / Intel processors. If you installed it, you would know that :rolleyes: Be aware that the V2 X-Lite version supposedly had a problem with updating (I ran it for a while and it did update once or twice before I moved on to V3). V3 was meant to fix updating problems. By default, Updates are suspended so one must resume them if the urge takes you there.

@KevTech Thanks for clarifying something that was never unclear.... How about people that are actually running the X-Lite version of 26H1 comment on the X-Lite version of 26H1 rather than weigh in relaying Microsoft speak.
