Solved Newer Machine Question

Newer AMD Prebuilt from Ibuypower Ready Build

Plugged in for my current 2nd Drive for the Games right now til i eventually do a clean install, and have 2 M.2 Drives, and might eliminate the Sata Drive if i don't need it after that, or maybe keep it in for extra storage

Anyways Some reason it shows up in Windows Safety Remove Devices area--should it?
(Drive is Samsung 860 Evo 1TB)

Motherboard is MSI Pro B650 VC-Wifi

**Bios is still on the 2/6/2024 Version, plan on possibly updating it when the beta one is out of beta**

In Device Manager

Under Disk Drives, identify the SATA device you would like the inbox driver to consider internal and open properties for this device by right-clicking and selecting Properties.

Note the bus number from the properties overview

Type the following in the command prompt (admin) and hit Enter:

reg.exe add “HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\storahci\Parameters\Device” /f /v TreatAsInternalPort /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d x

Where x is the Bus Number you noted.

Got It! Got the Bus Number Now, and will note down that command, and enter it asap here!

Finishes updating files on other externals, then tackles this Sata Drive issue right away before i forget

Next i just have to solve Wifi Antennas sorta in the way in rear of Case lol, tackles that when i reconfigure everything on its newer Desk in a few days
