Open the image with whatever you use for Imaging and save it to an Apple Image what your other images file extension are.

Maybe, if he would upload it as an image, we maybe able to tell.

If this is for an Apple iPhone, why are you posting in the Windows Forum?

To turn on Dark Mode on your iPhone, go to Settings > Display & Brightness, then select "Dark" to enable it. You can also access it quickly through the Control Center by touching and holding the brightness slider and tapping the Dark Mode icon.

If your customized wallpaper is not in Dark Mode, then create one that is.
