Not sure where this best placed. Audio system crashing W11?

Please move if need be to the correct forum. So I bought a LG G5 oled and got a very reduced soundbar to go with it. I've swapped over my realtek audio drivers for the sound to come out of the soundbar speakers (They so much better) This is where it gets odd. I have the Audio plugged into HDMI2earc (as that is the best settings for the sound) When I put the TV into standby though for a prolonged period of time (or in this case this morning) a couple of hours and when I switch the TV back on? W11 immediately freezes and I have to hold power on and off button to restart the system. Weird one

Have you checked to see if your Video card and audio drivers are up to date?

All up to date. Not sure what card is using the audio i.e. built into the graphics card or using the TV audio ah OK it's using the AMD Hi def audio device which I assume would be up to date when I installed latest graphics drivers

I'll do that now. Difference is though i'm not getting any BSOD'S. The system just plain freezing when I turn TV back on seems to be when it wants to connect to the soundbar audio when TV comes out of standby then freeze but I will do that

So far I've removed the VM drivers I got stuff on next few days when I get a chance tho I gonna completely reformat I think start fresh hopefully get rid of these niggles I got with the thing in general

Looks like a format has possibly done the trick. I am going to test it but no more crashes (although had issues when formatting) and lost 10TB worth of data due to a drive being bitlocked and was non-recoverable without a format but hey ho. Touch wood problem solved
