Nvidia MX and Windows 11

Just wondering what people think. There are quite a few used models of 8th to 10th gen laptops that originally had Windows 10 and will run Windows 11, but also have Nvidia MX graphics. Just wondering if they are worth having today as Nvidia no longer support MX graphics. So presumably you'd be stuck with the last available graphics driver from the laptop manufacturer? Dell seem to have a later one but would that work for HP? I'm guessing it would work ok now, but as Windows 11 evolves and updates...............

Still looking at used laptops for a spare

There are a few 13" HP Envy's available, which are nice. But the i5 ones only have 8gb onboard ram. The i7 ones have 16gb onboard ram but also come with nvidia mx graphics.

Seems a shame that perfectly good laptops end up being potentially knobbled because Nvidia stopped supporting MX! Or can you just disable the Nvidia graphics and use the onboard graphics solely? Or doesn't it work like that?

Yes, you can disable the Nvidia card using only the discrete one.
