Open Shell Keeps Being Replaced By Windows Start Button

Open Shell 4.4.170, Windows 11 Pro 21.H2

One of a few problems encountered after using LapLink to transfer data to Dell-supplied replacement computer.

As the title states, the replacement icon for Open Shell keeps getting replaced by the Windows Start button, so i have to restart Open Shell. Have I overlooked something in the Open Shell settings to fix a problem not seen before finishing setting up the replacement machine, one of a higher standard that the one it replaces, and which must be in good condition.

I know that, for the shipping box has label stating "Like New (Refurbished)"

A day or so ago, as part of my on-going problem solving of software problems where LapLink failed to transfer properly (not what I had encountered in a few previous uses of it, I updated Open Shell to 4.4.175, which exhibits an odd behavior. I have the Task Bar set to left orientation, and now from time to time, the Open Shell leaves its far-left location for the center of the bar, where a simple click on it restores it to the left end. This is, at least, an improvement over its disappearances.
