Solved Open Source software that checks Motherboard ?

Greetings,

Is there a software the tests a motherboard to make sure your PC is working properly?

What is the problem(s) you seeing? There are 3rdparty apps that scan your computer continually and tell if you there is a problem, but these apps sometimes give false results and slows your computer, we do not recommend these.

It is better to run an app that You can run for a specific problem. Like HW Monitor to check your Temperatures and Voltages.
Crystal Disk Info Standard Edition to check the health of your drive etc.

Newer computers have diagnostics available in their boot/startup process, usually pressing a key like F2 or Esc or F9 or F12 will give some choices. Most computers I've worked on also list them in the BIOS, press F2 when turning on.

It always helps giving good responses when My Computer is completely filled out.

It's like no matter what driver I try my TV/Monitor blinks or goes black or sometimes crackles too. Getting frustrated I wondered if it's a motherboard issue.

It's only 2 years old --

If you have uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it, tried a different Video Cable, and a Different Monitor other then your TV, and the same thing keeps happening, then the video chip on the motherboard is failing, and the motherboard needs to be replaced. You can get a brand new Mini PC for about the same price for replacing the motherboard including labor.

Thanks. I was switching all sorts of things to rule out things. Like I took my wife's laptop and connected it to the TV instead of the Mini PC. Worked great. But I was using the same HDMI cable the Beelink was using at that laptop was at a lower resolution than my Mini PC.

So then I read someone in the Beelink forums explain it's likely an HDMI cable issue. The fastest check was to switch the Mini PC cable with one in my office desktop. Knock on wood it appears to be fixed. (The office PC monitor isn't blinking. Yet?)
