Hi folks
I know a load use OPENVPN either on a Linux NAS system or a Windows Host as a server.
I'd want to use it on a smart (Non android) TV.
These are usually locked up with a proprietary OS so it's unlikely you can natively sideload apps
However I have KODI installed on an amazon firestick and with OPENVPN client I now have access to all the stuff on my server when I'm travelling (just take the amazon fire stick and plug into hotel TV etc.
Anyway here's how to set it up on a Firestick or similar device.

Working brilliantly.
Thanks guys who first posted about OPENVPN -I queried why it would be useful -- and it is so thanks again.
Cheers
