Edit: I just ordered a Black & Decker 90555840 Wall Base to hang it on the wall.
Way better looking than a couple nails, I hope it fits.

Edit2: I found a 5* review & he said: Works perfectly with BLACK+DECKER Handheld Vacuum (CHV1410L)

The only thing is that the base is the charging unit. You'd have to use the regular base from time to time to charge the vacuum.

Finally... have been looking for an AMD 9070XT GPU for awhile. Finally found this one at Micro Center at the Fairfax Virginia location. This thing is huge. It's the same length at my XFX 7900XT, but its much wider. This the overclocked edition with the magnetic removable fans....

Nice purchase. I have used XFX cards almost exclusively in the past and I have been very impressed with how durable they are. Top performer in my book.

That's correct, but it can be charged while in-place on the wall as it hangs w/ the bottom up, I haven't mounted it yet as not sure about the height.
Not sure how full the dust bowl can get before the dust will leak out (when hanging on the wall), it does have a offset end so it wont be a straight shot.

Edit: Ok I installed & tested the setup. The charger base that comes w/ the Vacuum is a bit light so I had to put a small weight on it to make the connection.
Otherwise it works as I had hoped.

Yeah, I've had them (XFX) in the past and have one in my 7900 XT, which I moved to backup system, so this one can go in my main system. Nice card, though I really wanted the AORUS Radeon™ RX 9070 XT ELITE, but that card is impossible to find outside getting it through e-bay for an exorbitant price or getting it from some unknown vendor, so I settled on the above once I found Micro Center had them. Still a bit high, but that's the market today.

Got fed up with Media Tek Wi-Fi 6E wlan internal card. Speeds of around 280 TO 350 Mbps so using TP-Link Wireless USB Adapter on USB 3 port. A good improvement.

I have a Black and Decker vac that I bought years ago from Walmart and love it. It's so old that I can't find any pictures of it. Just goes to show that they are made to last. The two I had before buying the Black and Decker stopped charging the battery because the on\off switch was cheaply made. I know it was the switch because I could play with it eventually the charge like would come on for a short period.

Need some opinions.

I placed these orders for 2 laptops but I only need one for my 14 year old daughter's graduation gift. Both are only available online in my area so I can't go to the store to check them physically. Both on sale from $1200 down to $800. One is brand new (Dell) and one is open box ---not refurbished (ASUS).
For my daughter's purpose, it needs to be 14" only, touchscreen and foldable (like a tablet when folded). Both are 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD drive.

Main difference:
DELL: i5 120U (2024) and 4 cell battery (longer battery life), 1.7kgs weight
ASUS: i7 13700H (2023) and 3 cell battery only, 1.5kgs weight (lighter because of battery capacity)

In your opinion, which is better in the long run?

My wife and I both have ASUS Vivobooks, but not touchscreens. We're pleased with them. My wife has used hers far more than I have used mine. Ours are Ryzen CPUs, though. Here's a newer model of what we have. It's not a touchscreen, though. I'm not keen on those, but your daughter might be. Since we've had good luck with ASUS, I'd go with that one or the one I linked to, which is a little larger.

My wife and I both have ASUS Vivobooks, but not touchscreens. We're pleased with them. My wife has used hers far more than I have used mine. Ours are Ryzen CPUs, though. Here's a newer model of what we have. It's not a touchscreen, though. I'm not keen on those, but your daughter might be. Since we've had good luck with ASUS, I'd go with that one or the one I linked to, which is a little larger.

Thanks for your input. She can't have anything larger than 14". Otherwise it will be too heavy to lug everyday to school. She's a digital art creator so it has to be touchscreen. She has her own desktop PC I built for her with 27" monitor if she needs to work on bigger screen.
I also have my own ASUS Zenbook laptop and I haven't had any issues with it.
