Today I ordered another 25 million Beneficial Nematodes to treat the 2026 backyard garden & compost bin.

My last year order worked very well as the treatment took care of any root knot nematodes, cutworms, flying (green & purple) beetles, most of the black ants & those root eating grubs + any other nasty insects that might be imported w/ the Bales of Compost I also add to the garden areas.

I also ordered (today) $30.00 USD of vegetable seed for planting.

When they arrive they are in a powder form. If I could count 100 of them w/ a magnifying glass (possibly), weigh them on a triple beam scale (?accurate enough) then multiply by 250,000 to find out how accurate the 25M is, I'm thinking they'd include more, maybe +1M incase some die

That's reasonable...but how do you tell if they are beneficial? Flip them over?

I've been using them for the past 5 years, the SC type for 2 years then went to their Triple Blend HB+SC+SF Targets 200+ Soil Pests.
The year before I started using them the root-knot nematodes wiped out both rows of Cantaloupe (13 plants).

1 pest I cannot seem to eliminate are Assassin Bugs on the last Watermelon (attached).
Nasty looking bugs so I hand remove them w/ gloves on.

I just bought one of these Samsung portable SSDs (T7, 4TB) for £268.99. Out of interest I looked it up in Amazon uk today to see if the price had gone down, and was rather shocked to see that it was massively up. It looks as if I was lucky ahead of the great memory price hike that we've all been reading about!

Last week I ordered a eufy HomeBase™ Professional S1 to compliment the eufy security cameras I have around my home, it’ll replace the HomeBase 3 (S380) I have been using.

I paid full price for the unit & thinking it’ll come from a local warehouse (wrong).
After waiting for the FedEx (east coast) station to receive it I tried to cancel my order (Amazon had them w/ next day delivery then), naturally they didn’t want to do that so they offered me 3 choices, I took the 1st one for a $20. refund which I received within a couple hours.

Sooo long story short eufy sent me their newsletter offering $100. discount on the S1 for existing customers.
I applied for that & received it in a couple hours also.

ETA tomorrow (Tuesday).

It does everything it claims. This coming week we will have wind chills around -10 to -15F.

I'll update this post after next week.
I firmly believe, even -10 to -15 won't be noticeable.

With only a short sleeved shirt on under the jacket... I can't feel the cold, at all.

Last week I purchased an echo show 11 for the office & the Amazonians delivered it the next day.
Setup was easy just a language choice & updating then it asked to use the settings from the echo show 8 in the other room, super easy.
I turned off all the persistent advertisements & was ready to rock & roll.

Here is a photo of it on my desk showing a group of running security cameras.

That's a great deal from Walmart. If only I needed a coat that hardy. I'm in South Georgia, and the temps only get into the 20s on a strange night/morning. Still, others might find the information useful. Thanks for posting!

That reminded me that I need to setup a new Blink account so I can start using my security cameras again. I had to deactivate my old account last year.

Back in the mid 70's I bought some thermal underwear from a company located in Maine. They were made from a material that was very thin but they definitely keep me warm when I was working in the extreme cold weather. They worked so good that I only had to wear a jacket instead of a heavy coat and a pair of jeans. When it came time for me to have to replace them the company was no longer in business.
