I'm thinking of doing that anyway. I bought a cheap license for Office 2021 from gHacks back in 2022 to replace LibreOffice and Thunderbird but now I'm asking myself why. Dealing with licenses is a PITA.

Why would want to do anything right now if you have Office 2021? The only thing that is happening is that it will stop getting security updates. I have Office 2010 Pro, Office 2019 Pro Plus and Office 2021 Pro. I will keep using them for many years to come.

A couple years ago I installed Office 2003 Pro on an old computer with Windows 7. It installed OK and received a number of updates. Mainstream support ended in 2009. That only meant there were no security updates after that.
