Passwords on PC

Is there a way to view all saved passwords on my Windows 11 machine? when i look in windows credentials this is what im seeing?

Unfortunately, passwords are stored all over the place in Windows, so it's not easy to see them all.

Your browsers do store your online passwords and they are usually viewable.

E.G. For Firefox go to settings > privacy & security > passwords and click on Saved passwords.

You should also be using a password safe like Keepass to store all of your logins and passwords securely. You can look them up at any time then.

Windows Credentials will have passwords etc. for network devices and PC's that you connect to, like your Synology NAS.

Nirsoft has bunch of utilities for that, but it is a bit difficult with MSA, especially paswordless.

Guys i should have stated im only looking the password for my Synology NAS and Windows.

If there would be an easy method to see the password of either the NAS or Windows, anyone who is using that method on your laptop (while it is switched on) would be able to see those passwords.

The secret behind passwords is... that they are secret and no one can see them. So I don't think your passwords can be made visible.

Windows has a method of some questions at system install, where you could give answers to. I never used them, because I did not loose or forget my password ever, but maybe that does the trick to get Windows working again (if it is not at the moment).
For the NAS I don't know if there is a solution to reset the password. I don't use a Synology NAS (my NAS is integrated in the router/modem I use and indeed that requires knowing the right password as well).
