Windows 11
5 hours ago, my pc was working fine, i had played some league and talked to friends on discord, then i shut it down to go outside, and when i came back, i turned it on and all of a sudden these windows started popping up saying Runupd.exe has failed, Update.exe has failed, Werfault.exe has failed and it showed an error 0xc0000428. More specifically, it said "C:\windows\system32\rsaenh.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error". I still have access to internet, the widgets on the right side of the taskbar are gone, no volume, some apps dont work and everything is just problematic. What should i do

Restore from a backup. But if you don't have one run a command prompt as admin and enter SFC /SCANNOW. Post the result.

I have included a readme in this archive with a couple of replacement files (rsaenh.dll): UPLOAD.EE - rsaenh.7z - Download

If it's not enough to help, there are smarter people than me here that could advise you.
Best of luck.

It doesn't sound to sw problem to me.

Does it do the POST? (it should do a short beep from the case speaker to indicate that) Can you enter the BIOS? If not, detach everything including disks and GPU (if the processor or the mobo has one, and attach the monitor to the corresponding video output), except the processor, just one RAM module and something that outputs video. If it does the POST, attach the rest of parts one by one until you see the culprit.

If it doesn't do the POST even with the minimum hw possible (if you have several RAM modules, try another), maybe these links can help.

If you haven't got a case speaker, buy one. You may have a portable one in other computers.

Did you build this yourself? If you shut it down and restart it repeatedly, after three or four starts it should go into Windows Recovery and you could try a repair or go to a command prompt and run some tests.
