I quite like Phone Link in Windows 11 and have been awaiting its appearance in my Start Menu instead of a
pop-up window. I have checked that it was supposed to appear as part of Windows 11 Build 2600.3915 KB5055627
which was successfully installed on my PC on 27th April 2025.
I have tried used CoPilot to get information of how to uninstall and re-install both Phone Link (PC) and Link to Windows (Android Phone).
This was necessary because Phone Link isn't an app (even though it used to be downloadable from MIcrosoft Store), so I had to use GetAppXpackage.
Having done this several times with no effect, I'm wondering whether I should use Vivetool. - I have full details of the command.
I was sunder the impression that Vivetool was only to be used in the Windows Insider environments.
What do you think?
