Photos app default not working

So just recently my photos keep opening in Paint.net instead of the photos app. Which is really annoying and I have to keep right clicking to open in photos. I know something popped up recently asking if I wanted Paint.net to be the default for opening and photos and inadvertently accepted it. I've changed the default app back to Photos app but they still keep opening in Paint.net. Any suggestions?

Here:
Right click on any photo you want open with Photo and choose the last entry.

From the next screen that comes up choose the entry Photo and the bottom one Always.

Cheers! I tried that once and it reverted back again. But just done it again and - fingers crossed - it seems ok again now :-)

Give it a reboot and se if it sticks. Mine did the last time.
