Photoshop doesn't show in default apps

I'm running Windows 11 Version 24H2. I just replaced my hard drive and all else is working well. Photoshop starts well from Creative Cloud or from settings, but it doesn't show in my apps or default apps and I can open images from the Photoshop app, but I can't make it the default or even use open with when trying to open any image. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted, ran scannow, and still can't get it to show in the apps. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I did find a workaround, but it's still concerning that Photoshop doesn't show up in the apps. If I go to open with and then search for another app, I can set Photoshop to always open that type of file.

Try right mouse clicking on a .psd file and then selecting default application -- you can then browse to select the app.
