I'd like to find a way to pin Kyhs's Image Health CMD script (Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk - Windows 10 Help Forums, see post #2) to the Start Manu and/or the Taskbar. Any help would be appreciated.

Update: I found a solution to pinning to the Start Menu: change the extension from ".cmd" to ".exe" then pin it to the start menu. After it's pinned then go back and change the extension back to ".cmd". But the issue of pinning to the taskbar is still unsolved.

You can pin a CMD batch file to Start Menu or Taskbar by the following procedure:

Right-mouse click on CMD script, and select create shortcut. This creates a shortcut in the same folder.
Go to the newly created shortcut and Right-mouse click on the file, and select Properties from the list.
In the Properties window, under Target, add explorer (with one space afterwards) to the target field.
Once you've done that, the shortcut icon changes from a cmd icon to an explorer icon.
Now you can pin this shortcut to either the Start Menu or the Taskbar, as required.

@iko22 Unfortunately using explorer causes the admin privileges dialogue box to pop up each time which defeats the purpose of putting it on the taskbar.

In the Target field of the shortcut, try the following:
runas /user:ComputerName\Administrator /savecred explorer “MyCMD.bat“
where "MyCMD.bat" is the name of your CMD script.
(Not sure /savecred works on Windows 11, give it a go anyway.)

Thanks, I'll give it a try and get back to you in a few minutes.
Update: It didn't work. Nothing appeared to happen.
