Hello I have just reinstalled Windows 11 and I have installed most of my apps but cannot get them to pin to the taskbar as in the previous install. I can see the Xonar sound card listed in apps but there is no way that I can pin it to the taskbar.
Any help really appreciated.
Edit it has suddenly appeared on my task bar so no problems:)

Make a note that any app in the Start Menu can be pinned to the taskbar. So, if the Xonar soundcard app is in the Start Menu, you can right click it and hit pin to taskbar

I don't even know what sys tray is
SysTray is the collection of icons in the bottom RH corner of the Task Bar (Date, Time, Bluetooth, Network, etc) Sometimes, hardware control software manufacturers (audio, display/video, etc) run their software in/from the SysTray. If that's the case, to get the icon to appear there, different setting(s) withing Windows.
Otherwise, any program in the Start menu, right click > More > Pin to Taskbar

OK thanks for the replies folks and yes Brian I did find a way albeit in a roundabout way that I cannot remember to attach the icon for the sound card control panel to the taskbar. idgat ok mate I should have realized that but in the rush to get it done it just didn't occur to me, and Stigg it wasn't a standard app but a driver that I downloaded from Asus for that card mate so hence a roundabout way of getting on the taskbar - it's just handy to adjust the sound effects that the card produces which I like to adjust myself..
Anyway all s ok now
