    …still on a horse.
There are multiple types of drive tests.

A drive can pass some test types then fail on another.

Drive SMART tests provide instantaneous results and can be unreliable after power surges / outages.

Crystal disk can display >90% on a failed drive as the SMART tests attempt to predict drive failure.

If the computer can boot from the Western Digital Brown gaming hard drive then please run the V2 log collector > post a share link into the newest post.

I'm using the computer to type this. Please tell me how to run a V2 log collector. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for your input and replies. I'm going to run chkdsk C: /F /R from DOS just to make sure there is nothing wrong as one of you suggested. I'm using the coomputer. I already ran it from DOS with the /f switch. It showed no errors. You people are experts. I make hypothesises. I don't comment unless I have enough information to base an educated guess which is what a hypothesis is. The HD is definitely not fried.. Thank you so very much for all your comments. Everything seems to be fine. Thank you very much, once again, for all of your comments.

Have you been doing any backups?

Have you been doing any backups?

Can you still boot into Windows
Yes, Windows 11 automatically backs up important files with OneDrive to Microsoft's servers, my brother in Christ. I have Microsoft Office 365. Otherwise, Windows 11 OneDrive offers very limited free storage. Also, I back up files to a Seagate 500 GB USB hard drive occasionally to transfer them between my computers. I ran chkdsk /f /R from DOS. It found no errors. The hard drive has 872 hours. It is a 4TB Western Digital Brown gaming hard drive. I paid almost $200. I'm using the computer to type this message to you. My name is Jack Pat Keiffer. Children used to tease me in kindergarten. We have our names in common. (Jack is a synonym for John.) I read your post. I'm sorry that you had hard disk problems. If you're still having problems, please run a diagnostic program from the hard drive's manufacturer. May God continue to bless and protect you and your family. Thank you very much for your reply. I have an over 15-year timeline on Facebook. Please check it out if you'd like. Jack Keiffer Microsoft signs its software, MS. MacroSoft is satirical for Microsoft. I just reread your January post. I read the whole post. SSDS SUCK! Please back up your SSD to a hard drive, and/or OneDrive. Office 365 is relatively inexpensive. If you pay for Office 365, you can use OneDrive to back up many computers. Microsoft's servers won't fail. They are multi-RAID servers. SSDs have limited read/write capabilities. They will fail, just like USB flash drives. Hard drives usually fail gradually. They are sealed. The motor has grease around the spindle of the disk platter. Eventually, it will run out of grease. God created everything. Everything in God's expansive universes will eventually fail. We all will be spirits someday. We will live forever. The earth is a test. God put us here to learn. Please love everyone. Thank you for caring. Thank you, Jesus, always, and forever. Amen.1771598898266.webp
