Hey guys, I'm playing a game where the calculator is your main tool and I have to use it a lot and fast,
Currently I use Windows calculator app however I'm not very happy with it because it lacks some functionalities that are essential for fast calculation.

A calculator which I seek to find need to have the following 3 capabilities:

1. Has an option to be always on top of other windows
- Windows calculator can do that but memory buttons are then no longer present

2. Has at least one memory function (ex. M, M+ MC), two or more memories would be perfect.
- Windows calculator has only one and only when not on top

3. Has a function to round up and round down a decimal number to integer.
- Windows calculator doesn't have a button to round decimal numbers with single click.

4. It has to be free and without ads or premium features that need to unlocked for price.

Optional but not required is that the calculator is open source or at least from known and trusted publisher.

Any recommendations are welcome and I'll be happy to test them

There is round function in scientific calculator I see, but you can't put scientific version on top :(

Thank you sir very much for your suggestion!
Thanks to you I figured out a method on how to make windows calculator app meet what I want.

1. Install Microsoft powertoys from widnows store
2. Open powertoys from search bar on windows taskbar
3. Select widnows calculator and switch to scientific then press (Win key + CTRL + T) to make it on top

The round up and round down functions are in the "Function" dropdown menu.
Scientific calculator also has a history of memories which is great!

Thank you @Berton for your effort, it's appreciated but I'll stick with the powertoys solution since both software are from MS and work fine.
Whish I figured out that sooner.

I'm a little lost as to why you need Powertoys to get the scientific panel to be on top when opened? When I choose the Scientific function, and close than re-open Calculator, the Scientific panel is there...

By top I mean when you click other windows or programs the calculator stay at the top and never goes to background behind other windows.
Since I'm using it in browser game I need it to behave like it's part of the game, to be present within game all the time no matter what I click in the game.

I don't want to click on taskbar icon each time I need to calculate something to bring it to top, as that wastes a lot of time and makes me lose in-game profits.

The fastest calculators in terms of entry are Reverse Polish Notation (RPN). You can enter quite complicated calculations even without entering a single bracket or use memory storage.

I use an HP CV41 emulator (a classic calculator).

People say they are too complicated but they actually works the way a brain instinctively works, and once you get the hang of them, using a conventional algebraic calculator feels so 'school' like.

Thank you, I will experiment with other calculators as well over time, because scientific windows calculator has too big display area and too small buttons, and if I resize it then it takes too much space, but otherwise in combination with powertoys it's just fine.

2 monitors would be perfect solution.

OK, I see, there is one in windows store.

You know what would be even better? a calculator with speech recognition!
Where you say for ex. 100 + 100, and then say to it "copy to clipboard" huzzah!

This is very interesting calculator, I have installed it to test it, I like it but won't be able to use in within game due to it's size and lack of floor and ceil functions. but otherwise it's probably the best of those I tested so far.
and it's from trusted publisher which is a plus.

Yeah and you are right, you can't scale down the size. Only thing you can do is use the various skins.
