OS
Win 11
Hi Folks
Just joined and I don't really know where to look. I have a relatively old win 11 desktop and an Asus win 11 "netbook" Both generally work well.
I recently bought a hotel router - not that I plan on using it for a hotel but I have a couple of telescope mounts that would benefit from such.
I can log into the router easily enough and then log into the mount. The problem comes after I exit and seem to have trouble then using the browser to get back out on the internet - even though I change to my home wifi and that wifi states "internet access"
I get a variety of errors - error connection refused or timed out.
The other day I had to ipconfig flushdns (which did not work) but shutting down the router did.
On the laptop windows seemed to eventually sort it out.
So I don't want to keep having this issue every time - it may be a DNS issue but I really have no clue where to go.
Any advice appreciated.

within the router configuration itself can you set the DNS to, these are for cloudflare.
DNS IPV4 primary .. 1.1.1.1
DNS IPV4 secondary .. 1.0.0.1

DNS IPV6 primary .. 2606:4700:4700::1111
DNS IPV6 secondary .. 2606:4700:4700::1001

save settings then see if your system(s) can pick the internet up.
best of luck, Steve ..

is the router on the same ip range or do you have to login on a different range

I don't quite understand the question (that's my fault).
Showing my ignorance here.
