Power Plans/Restore Ultimate Performance?

Hi all, I'd like to restore the "Ultimate Performance" power plan in Windows 11, as my freshly installed Windows 11 Home system only shows the "Balanced" power plan. Will this guide also apply to Win11? Thanks

It should. All of the power plans in 11 use the same IDs as the corresponding Windows 10 power plans.

Hello antares, :)

If your computer supports Modern Standby, you will only have the Balanced power plan available by default, and will not be able to add any other default power plan than Balanced. You will be able to change the power mode level to what you want though.

You will still be able to create and add a custom power plan with Modern Standby.

Hi Brink, now I remember, you already explained this back in 2018 . Most surely my Dell laptop does support Modern Standby so will apply it to my Windows 11 and report back, thanks ;)

I followed your suggested method to disable Modern Standby in Windows 10 but there seems to be no "CsEnabled" line in the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power

That will no longer disable Modern Standby. :(
