preview pain

Good Day All
Just curious if there is a setting to make preview pain show each file. when i sellect mult. files to move i usualy seen a thumb, now once i go to the second file it turns to a blue / blank file. it makes it hard to sort files without the thumb.
all ifo greatly appreciated

it worked real nice to keep pics, vids, and such in groups now you have to find the first, and then go down and remember the first

so that's the details pane in windows 11. when you select 1 file it will show details and a preview/thumbnail. when you highlight multiple files it will show the quantity but no details about the total size, etc.

to get the old style back, you can

1) use @LesFerch tool OldExplorer to invoke the windows 10 style file explorer (and it will then look like the details pane on the right-hand side of the above image

2) use startallback or explorerpatcher to invoke the old details pane at the bottom (windows 7 style and will allow you to continue using the windows 11 tabbed file explorer)

I did a test with OldNewExplorer on my Virtualbox Windows 11 test system, using StartAllBack to revert to Windows10 UI / Windows 7 UI
It just gives some options to disable some buttons and minor functions, like disabling the status bar, disabling the Up arror (to return to parent folder and some others.

Not very usable for me.

I think StartAllBack can pull it off on it's own, in Win7 mode, but, I use OldNewExplorer for a couple of other tweaks.
Not sure if OldNewExplorer can do it all on it's own, at least not the way I have it.
