[privacy] AOMEI BackUpper uses google spyware

Prolly most here don't care, but I do. The Glassware traffic monitor program alerts on any 1st network connections made. It shows that AOMEI contacted google's g-a 3 times upon install, then again after my first backup finished. (Glassware thus let's you spot that without using a regular sniffer.)

Their privacy policy doesn't say a word about this: AOMEI Privacy Policy | AOMEI Trust Center At the very least, that's rude.

As usual, these companies brag that they don't store any personally identifying info about you. But google sure does. Yes, I know the company will say that's it's just to let them know how their stuff gets used. Yes, I know that g-a is not the technical def of spyware, but it's still spyware.

(Meanwhile, I also installed Hasleo backup today and they only phone home to their own server.)

I use EaseUs ToDo Pro and love it. Ive used Macrium and Acronis and Aomei and a few more and honestly, mode of installation and ease of including my usb bootable rescue drive setup was simple. And it is the only one ive used that finds my drive I am using for backups. I had to total re-install before finally finding a software that works. For me anyways, for you maybe not who knows. but yes many of these programs are very sneaky at hiding their calls to the wild wild net. Be careful my friend.

What I dont like about EaseUs ToDo Pro ; is the program will delete everything on the target-drive(s) , before restoring to the backup you choosed !
Seems to take much more time compared to Macrium, AoMEI............
Macrium restores only the differences , so its very fast !

Restoring by difference (Rapid Delta Restore) is only available in paid versions - not free version. But yeah RDR is much faster.
