Problems Between Windows 11 and ACDsee

I have upgraded from ACDsee 2021 to ACDsee 2025 and I have changed to a new desktop from a laptop. The word "No" appears on all my thumbnails in ACDsee and I didn't put it there and I don't want it there and I can't find where it comes from. I have compared all my Options settings between ACDsee 2021 and 2025 and they are all the same. I had this happen in a previous version and someone knew the answer. It was simple, just unticking a box somewhere in the then version of windows. While I remember this happening I cannot remember where that tickbox was/is. Now with Windows 11 everything looks different so I am not likely to recognize the spot even if I came upon it.

Any and all ideas gratefully received.

WOW, you're good AND fast. But, not the problem this time. I did search the ACDsee forum but I did not find this post. There are no "NO"'s in my ACDSee Metadata. I learned this as a result of this old post. And my German is still not very good, but I got this. I love the saying you have quoted.

I don’t know what options are in what version, I don’t use ACDSee

It would appear that it has to be (yes I am assuming) something to do with the metadata somewhere. I had no idea ACDSee was so complex with settings.

I wonder if our member and friend Edwin might have an idea when he is available.

Also, have you tried rebuilding the thumbnail cache?

Rebuilding Thumbnails and Metadata
Situations can develop in which your images will be out of sync with the thumbnail images displayed in the File List pane and the embedded metadata. You can use the Rebuild Thumbnails and Metadata tool to immediately regenerate the thumbnails for selected images and rebuild the metadata.
To Rebuild Thumbnails:

1. In Manage mode, do one of the following:
Select one or more thumbnails in the File List pane. Select a folder in the Folders pane.
2. Click Tools | Metadata | Rebuild Thumbnails and Metadata

I'm also having an issue with any version of ACDSee with these errors and I have tried everything I can think of to try and fix it without any luck.
Ive even tried it on different Desktop Computers and Notebooks.
Windows 11 just doesn't like ACDSee :(
