I really don't like the new thing of charging by usbc port. They get damaged so easily. And yes I know you need to have good practices when having it plugged in
Getting damaged isn't a major issue if the usb c port is replaceable but on my recent HP Spectre X360 it's not - it means a new motherboard. Still gnashing my teeth over that. I'm selling it for spares now and it's only about 3 years old and in very good condition.
