I have a brand new Framework 13 laptop. Today I upgraded the BIOS and installed Framework's driver bundle. Suddenly I started getting a flood of UserModePowerService 12 events - multiple per second. The even reports changing a policy scheme from one GUID (or whatever that thing is) back to the same one.
There are reports of this happening to some Intel gen 13 CPUs with the only fix being to select a high performance power setting rather than the balanced one. My laptop has only a balanced power setting so I'm not sure what to do.
