Solved QTTabBar

In my experience, you gotta load an alternative Explorer shell, first.
I accomplish that with StartAllBack W7 mode, then I run QT version 1038, no problems.
@Edwin - Thanks for the response. Would running the method you recommend still require the Vivetool steps to disable Explorer tabs? Or is that no longer a requirement via your method? Also, is StartAllBlack a free or paid application?

Your preferences might be different, but I like to run SAB in W7 mode, looks cleanest...,
QTTabBar is version 1038, most versatile, but you probably gotta search the Way Back Machine to find it!
(This is on a fresh upgrade from W10 to W11)

Downloaded SAB and am ready to install that. But the version of Qttabbar (v1038) isn't coming up in any results even on Way Back Machine. There's v1043 on QuizoApps, and that's about it. Will try it all when I'm at the W11 computer.

That one might be okay, I just remember the beta's being really buggy...

@Edwin - Soo. Am all up and running with the 100 day trial of SAB, and I tried QTTabbar v1043, and it wouldn't even show up in Explorer.

So I uninstalled them both reinstalled SAB afresh, and left the settings on default, I then installed the v2048 beta that I was on, and it seems to be running happily along.

So now Windows 11 tabs and QTtabbar are running side by side, which is fine. Thanks for the assist. ;-)
