Question Concerning The Difference Between Two Instances Of Edge Browser With Same Version Number

Hello,

I currently have two instances of the edge browser installed on my computer, they are as follows:

Version 119.0.2151.38 (Official build) stable app, beta channel (64-bit) / This Is The Version That Came With The O.S.

Version 119.0.2151.38 (Official build) beta (64-bit) / I installed This Version As A Separate Download

As You can see they currently both have exactly the same version number, but the only difference that I can see is the first version is listed as follows: stable app, beta channel (64-bit), while the second version doesn't have this included: stable app . So my question is what could possibly be the differences between the two versions ? Thanks in advance for any and all help that may be provided to me concerning my inquiry.

No difference, stable version caught up with the beta installed. This happens when this is activated.

So technically I really don't see any benefit in keeping what I'm going to call the 'real' beta version installed unless I'm misunderstanding the whole scheme of how things are currently functioning with edge release versions.

That I am not sure.
On one of my machine, the beta built became Dev one day while on another it remained Beta.
By disabling the option highlighted above, I have now stable versions on my systems and run Canary in parallel.
I think they certainly wanted to push Beta at one point so that webview would allow co-pilot to work.
It is just an assumption.
