Win11/11 Dual Boot Insider Release Preview and DEV channels
I read in one of these post that if you are on Windows 11 Beta 23H2 and you switch to Preview Build on the Insider page that you would get Windows 11 Preview 24H2. Is this true?
Do you have to have a supported PC for this? My PC is not supported and I switched and am not receiving the update so this makes me wonder....
Sleepless in Seattle.

That's correct, I've done it twice now on a supported PC but switched back to Beta 23H2 from my Macrium backup due to problems. I got the 24H2 in WU as soon as I switched to the RP channel however.

Yes! I have the toggle on and everything. Even restarted my PC just in case. Zero. Maybe it takes a while. ???

Just fair warning, be careful what you wish for as that has been one bug plagued Windows 11 version lol. I have it on my other PC since May and put up with a lot of growing pains. Many have been resolved now but people still have problems and it rendered my file explorer completely unusable when I tired to replace my Beta build with it.

That's why you won't see it because I think it detects based on what you actually have, not how you bypassed it as those two requirements are needed and there is no way to bypass it from reading the threads on elevenforums.

No idea how to get pass your CPU spec issue but I thought I'd pass on that I was able to get the new 24H2 Cumulative Update build 26100.2065 out this morning by also switching from the Beta 23H2 channel to the RP channel. I had the file explorer crashing issue once again but I finally found a fix searching the web so now that it's fixed I will probably stay with 24H2 RP until Beta finally goes to 24H2.
