I only ask because Win11 is new to me in the past few days and for all I know it's a legit occurrence. It was sent from a legit source as I have a list of verification codes in a text message from over the past 12 months,
So either legit or someone is trying to get into my MS account?
Really weird, I've not had anything like this, ever, in all my years of using windows from Win 7 onward and my Microsoft account.

I would be suspicious that someone has signed up to Azure using your credentials but as you have 2FA active it is sending you the request to access the account.
I would check your account for any unsuccessful log ins & change your password just in case.

Will do. I immediately changed my password securely, it would take a long time to guess. I thru everything into it.
The email has only ever been used to login to MS. I never get emails to it and never have. I have never sent emails from it.

Yeah, thank you. I just now noticed they're trying to get in via a Microsoft Alias for my main account. I must of used it at some point in history.
I have many for these occasions if they should ever arise... and one did, not sure if I should be excited or what
