RealTek Audio Control Panel

I'm trying to download the RealTek Audio control panel from the Microsoft Store and it's telling me I'm missing this driver (Realtek-RealtekHSA.inf). I also get this error message: The product couldn't be installed due to some missing dependencies. Make sure these drivers are installed: 'Realtek-RealtekHSA.inf'. Does anyone know where I can download this driver?

Hopefully others have an answer for you, but I have not been able to get the Realtek Audio Panel to work on any of my 4 computers for 7 or 8 years now, ever since Realtek removed it from their driver package.

I have a version of the Realtek audio control that was included in a driver package provided by my motherboard maker (Gigabyte).

The search function in the MS Store isn't showing me anything from Realtek. How are you getting to the download?

Dell isn't showing me any drivers for the Inspiron 27 7710 (note spelling). If that's the machine in question, you may need to contact Dell support. I wonder what their game is; the machine isn't old (2022).

I got it working but in order to get there I had to re-enable something that was disabled at startup.

@bobkn Dell has not included the Realtek audio panel (console) in its Realtek driver package for a very long time. For a while there was a Dell Audio panel included but that is no longer included in my Dells' driver packages anymore either.
Realtek console is no longer in the store but can be downloaded. However, it won't work in my Dells. Maybe has something to do with Dell using proprietary Realtek drivers. Realtek Audio Control - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store

You need their Bloatware Assistant: SupportAssist for Home PCs | Dell USA - or the serial from the back (to access the driver section for this model). Won't show any driver - using the name of the Product. It's how Dell division responsible for drivers support - does things this days (probably to encourage users - to use their automated software instead of manually searching/getting the driver from their site - the old school way).

You need a Realtek Driver with RealtekHSA.info - to be able to install it. As in...

Most OEM Realtek Sound drivers have it. Normally i'd recommend OEM drivers for audio (for the sake of compatibility) - but if that's not available (for whatever reason) - there's also this 3rd party option based on the latest Realtek Audio Drivers - made in partenership with an OEM (tho, striped down of OEM ID tag - so it can install on any Realtek supported hardware).

I found that link via a Web search, but not using the search at the MS Store. It's interesting that MS appears to have deprecated it, but it's still available to the persistent.

As regards the Dell situation, I'll coin a phrase: that sucks. If Gigabyte can do it, why not Dell?

Realtek's Audio Control app from the Microsoft Store depends on several software components, and the missing RealtekHSA.inf is part of the Realtek Audio HSA Software Component. Without it, the app won't install properly.

Download the Realtek Audio HSA Driver

Microsoft Update Catalog
From the Microsoft Update Catalog. download the first cab file. "Realtek - SoftwareComponent - 11.0.6000.374"
Right click and extract the cab file with WinRar or 7Zip.
Go to the folder 49f706-c004-4e25-b3d0-5657bebc0a71_b1a9dad9ae3b5265a2e9d0a524e8594dbe48af54\RealtekHSA_374
Right click on RealtekHSA.inf and choose "Install".
Reboot
Try the app from Microsoft Store again.

As always, it is recommended that you backup your system first with something like Hasleo or Macrium Reflect

Download the Realtek Audio HSA Driver

You can grab the correct driver from one of these:

Treexy Driver Fusion Database – Offers multiple versions of the RealtekHSA.inf driver for Windows 10 and 11.
Microsoft Update Catalog – SoftwareComponent” and look for versions like 11.0.6000.371 or newer.

Once downloaded, you can install the .inf file manually:

Right-click the downloaded .inf file.
Select Install.
Reboot your system.
Try installing the Realtek Audio Control app again from the Microsoft Store.
