how do i reduce the amount of recommend apps? i have 6, but i see others only have 2.

even better, does anybody know how to get rid of recommend apps completely?

i know start 11 can, but would rather not spend money.

With the native Start Menu, you can set it so no items are shown in the Recommended section but, you still can't get rid of the section itself, empty or not! Kind of non-productive but that seems to be the way it is for now!
