Back story, I was using Macrium Reflect with boot option when booting/restarting. Had problems with Macrium Reflect and my Nas(old story). Install Aomie Backupper added boot option to Aomie Backupper. I got the knicks worked out of Macrium Reflect (had to replace my Nas). Then I started using both for backups. Could restore from either Backup program. So for my boot screen I have windows, Aomie Backupper and Macrium Reflect.

Started getting mouse lock ups. Would be looking at web pages and mouse click would not work. Coild move the mouse pointer but no clinking would work. Had to munually reboot the computer. For some reason I started remove items to see if I had a conflect. Did not like the boot menu. So I removed Aomie Backupper and Macrium Reflect. I now have a stable machine. I don't know what was conflecting with what. If I need to restore I just use USB stick.

If it isn't one thing life would noy be fun.

A number of other computers, and now my last one.(I think)
If it's any help, my other machine is dual boot with a Macrium boot option and that has worked without problems but normally I boot from the Macrium rescue disk usb. This machine is Win 11 only and I always boot from the Macrium rescue USB if needed again works perfectly. I do have Aomei on this one as well but neither has Boot menus and I tend to do images with Macrium and folder and file backups with Aomei

Here is another "if it's of any help" story. My Macrium Reflect viBoot works smoother with VirtualBox than with Hyper-V. Most people experience it the other way around.

I have a little theory to go with that. Our digital machines have become so complex that they behave, to a certain extent, like analog machines. At that point, stop thinking 'digital' and give the 'analog' machine what it likes best (y)

BTW, the doggie in your avatar looks better than the one in mine (y)

There are theories the world is flat and aliens kidnapped Elvis which I think are more likely LOL.

Well, your brain cells communicate with electrical pulses, i.e. digital, but the overall function of your brain is analog (y)
