Registry key: ExtendedUIHoverTime to modify hover time for showing taskbar thumbnail previews

Would anyone be able to confirm that this tutorial ("Change Hover Time to Show Taskbar Thumbnail Previews in Windows 11") works in 23H2 and/or 24H2?

One of the users implied that the registry tweak -- which relies on modifying ExtendedUIHoverTime in the registry or adding ExtendedUIHoverTime to the registry -- isn't compatible with Start11 or Office 2021 (both of which I also use). I'd like to try this registry tweak, but I don't want to mess up my computer.

I'm running Windows 11 Enterprise, 23H2, 22631.3527.

It’s a simple registry tweak, surely you can undo what you have followed in the tutorial, if it’s not working the way you want it to.

In 23H2 it definitely works, in 24H2 I don't know, because 24H2 only exists as Insider (or maybe Canary) version, which I don't use.

You will not mess up anything and as @antspants already wrote, you can easily undo the registry tweak.
