I was having some problems so decided to reinstall Windows 11 Home. Not a clean install as I see some shortcut icons on the desktop to programs which I have not reinstalled.
As I was unable to reinstall Dragon Professional 15 I decided to purchase Dragon Pro 16, but am encountering the same problems so Dragon will not run.

This window keeps popping up repeatedly whichever of the three buttons I press.
There doesn't seem to be a way to enable JIT, which I think is Just in Time, unless I install Visual Studio, but that seems to need an application loaded into it before I get an option to enable, or disable, JIT.
At the moment the only way that I can see to try to overcome this problem is to do a clean reinstall of Windows after formatting the C drive to try to erase all memory of the previous Windows installation.
Does anyone have any bright ideas please?

Windows Build/Version
Windows 11 Home, version 25H2.

Windows does not always install all the needed runtime libraries. Latest Supported Visual C++ Redistributable Downloads

Thanks HeavyHemi, but I would assume that Dragon should install any missing C++ Runtime Libraries. If there is one, or more, missing then I have no way of knowing which so trying to guess which ones to download will probably not work.

You would have been told during setup if you were misssing a needed visual C package. I believe there's a problem with the package itself but I'm guessing. This might be one for @pseymour or @garlin

Thanks glasskuter, I cannot remember if Dragon mentioned that there were some C++ packages missing and would I like them to be installed, but I know that this has happened in the past with some programs which I was installing, so I guess Dragon did ask. I might uninstall it and then try again, but I cannot imagine that it will work if I do that.

Since you were having problems before and you say this is not a clean install, I would create another user account, log in with that, and see if Dragon starts.

Thanks pseymour, I decided that doing a clean reinstall after formatting the C drive was the best option, and that has worked.
