remote desktop issue

HI did anyone have had this issue
when I try to connect via *RDP file I have the screen ''remote session setup is in progress'' but it does not go any further...

I try clear cache, different browser, or restart but still the same error
on my laptop, with win 10 everything goes ok

Personally I do not use the remote desktop app but are you attempting to access by hostname or ip address. I have read where others solved their RDP problems by using the ip address.
