It shows how to work with Windows 10 and I am finding that 23H2 doesn't work with those tweaks - I already had the .reg files.

You may be looking at the wrong one?
I use these reg files and they still work fine for me at least.

You need to sort of come up with a combination of tutorials from the dark pic up above... that gives you what you want.
Make a fresh backup, then play around with those tutorials, until you achieve the look you want.

It took me a few tries before I got the right combination for me.
