Remove that blue circle

I get this blue circle in the bottom right with a number in it for the amount of notification I have. When you click on it, this is what it shows.

How can I stop these notifications and that blue circle from appearing?

That's the calendar with the current date in the blue circle...

The one I am talking about disappears when you click on it to show the screenshotted menu. The blue circle in the calendar is NOT the one I am talking about.

I assume you mean the ones in the taskbar?
If so, are you talking about the "qb" icon or the one that looks like the outer shell of an atom?
If it's the atom one... what program is that?

As for the notifications... I have them as disabled as you can get them, but I still get the Windows Security notification, when I temporarily disable Bitdefender. I can't seem to stop that one.

On Windows 10 I can stop ALL notifications. On Windows 11, I can stop all BUT the Windows Security one.

If I understand correctly.
Go to Settings, then System, then Notifications.
Here you can turn On or Off what apps etc you want to receive notifications for.
If all notifications are turned off, then the Blue Circle (as you refer it) will not show up. It just shows you how many notifications are awaiting your actions.

Alternatively, you can turn on Focus Assist. Then you'll just see a crescent moon, but if you click on it you'll still be able to see any notifications you may have missed.

For the record, this is what I ran in a .reg file to turn them off.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PushNotifications]
"ToastEnabled"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
"TaskbarBadges"=dword:00000000

This all looks good, right?

Might be but I think Defender notifications will override it (or should do). For those notifications you will need to configure via Defender.

OK I matched those settings. I am not sure how I missed those when I configured that Window when I reinstalled Windows. Is there a way to change these particular settings via reg edit?
