I added an Ubuntu Subsystem which seemed to work fine. Next, I tried adding the Mate desktop to it (just playing around). It added a ton of stuff. When complete, I could not get the desktop to come up. I'm sure that I must have does something wrong or it can't be done. It showed as being 7GB in size. So I uninstalled the Subsystem.
I used Settings, apps to uninstall the subsystem.
The uninstall appeared to work. but there is a problem.
Rebooting did not help.

- The Ubuntu Icon still appears in the Windows Terminal program, File Explorer.
When I try to open it from the windows terminal I get an error:
There is no distribution with the supplied name.
[process exited with code 4294967295]
