Is the Hub the preferred way to report issues to Microsoft with Windows 11?

I would think reporting those kind of issues to the MFG is the best way to go. Drivers/hardware issues are not up to MS to address.

The driver I'm talking about is Realtek audio I think. That same driver works flawlessly without issues in all versions of Win 10. That says to me...maybe wrongly...that it's a Win 11 issue. No? And...to my fault...I'm not even sure how I'd report such a thing to HP.

MS isn't going to update for fix the issues with that driver. My suggestion is go look for a more current version. HP may not have it but there are other sites that might

Here's a link to the drivers.. I suspect they'll update that for 11

Thank you. HP right at the moment is saying on their forums that Win 11 is beta software. I suspect as time goes on, they will support more. Whether it will be retroactive to this 2.5 year old laptop is anyone's guess. You answered my question. I think I can mark SOLVED. Again thanks.

I found that the Realtek drivers I used in 10 work just fine in 11, but I had to install them more than one time to get them to stick. I hope you get the driver you need.

New wierd keyboard behavior

Recently my (15 year old) Logitech S510 keyboard/mouse combo has exhibited weird behavior. It started typing backwards one day upon bootup. This is not limited to either Win 10 or Win 11. I've researched this and tried all the existing solutions, none of which have worked. The only solution I have found is to connect a wired keyboard & mouse which seem to work fine. I downloaded and installed the latest Logitech drivers (setpoint) and that fixed it for the existing login session. On the next boot it started the backwards typing again. I have had some success with "bouncing" the function key a few times but again, that only works for the existing login session. I have to assume it's the keyboard, but I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this and has a "non-traditional" fix. I'd like to keep this keyboard, but if it means getting a new one, so be it.

I installed Windows 11 on 10/05/2021 on ACER Aspire 5 A515-44-R2SA laptop, which went well. On 10/06/2021 I installed AMD website download video driver radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-21.10.1-win10-win11-64bit-oct5. After a couple of reboots and everything looking good, I went to Windows Update and it offered Display driver 26.20.14040.0 as an optional update. While that Windows Update driver was installing, I got a message saying there was a problem and the computer immediately rebooted. After the reboot, Device Manager showed driver 26.20.14040.0, but I noticed that it was quite old (3/11/2020). I also got a popup Radeon Software Warning that “the version of AMD Radeon Software you have launched is not compatible with your currently installed graphics driver”. No idea why Windows would offer an old driver. Even when I told Device Manager to try to update that old driver, it said I had the best one installed already.
In Device Manager, I rolled the driver back to the previously installed version which is now 30.0.13025.100 and is probably the driver installed by the AMD download of 2020-21.10.1. Working OK now and I noticed that the Optional Display Driver is no longer listed in Windows Updates.
