Solved Rufus and Defender complaining.

Downloaded latest Rufus portable 4.112285 to create a Linux Mint bootable USB. It kept failing with an error something like it was being used by another app. Found out that it was Core isolation Memory integrity that was blocking the creation of the bootable USB.

Turned off Memory integrity and Rufus worked.
Has any one else come across this as I don't remember it happening before?

Yes, Defender was only doing its job but annoyingly quiet. No popup at all warning of the blocking.

Yeah that's one annoying aspect of Defender. While it works as it should, there is no good place to see all blocks etc...

Yeah, one of the main reasons I disable defender, it blocks everything without saying anything.
The point is, that Rufus uses Beta versions, they should have caught it, they are slacking off.

Iv'e had defender flag older versions of rufus but not any current ones. I don't use beta versions of anything.
Just set defender to ignore it.
