Out of interest, do you actively use your various Samsung phones?

I do have 3 phones (Samsung s22+, Iphone 14 Pro Max and Samsung S25 FE).

I rarely use S22 or Iphone. The iphone was bought as it was only iphones which bluetooth connected to my oticon hearing aids. However I ended up getting phonak aids which connect to any classic bluetooth transmitting device, so iphone is more or less retired from general use.

The s22+ is prinarily just a back up to S25 FE if it failed or got lost/stolen. The primary reason I keep it us it has ultra wide band bluetooth (UWB) which makes finding galaxy smart tags more precise so I can find tagged misplaced keys around the house.

Nice thing about S series phones and iphones are that they use esims and you can have multiple esims on phone albeit only two max are active at any one time.

Not entirely.
The A52 is obsolete, stuck on Android 14,
the A54 is up to date, I mainly use it as a testing device,
the A35 is my daily driver,
and, the A17 was intended to be my new backup..., I bought it on a whim cuz it was cheap, still supports a 1.5TB SD Card, and was promised 7 years of updates.

A longtime lurker here, so I think this is my first post.

I had to purchase a like new S25+ which came with UI 8.0 to use with my new Jabra (ReSound ENZO IA) hearing aids as the phone supports LE Audio for hands free calling and the aids support Auracast. My last pair of hearing aids were Phonak which lasted me eleven years. My backup phone is a A53 5G which received it's last update to UI 8.0 .

I'm not sure if this is a glitch or it's by design, but...,
...if you swipe down the Quick Panel and long press on a button, it'll form a 'focus rectangle' around the button then take you to the function's settings..., fine.
But, when you're done with the settings and dismiss them, the 'focus rectangle' is still around the button and only goes away if you turn the function off and back on, or vise versa!

On my A52 the 'translucent rectangle' disappears before the UI escapes to the Setting...

(A cheap device with an inferior Bluetooth chip drops out a lot, though!)

Yeah I have used that in the past a long time ago.

I have a tool called audiorelay to send sound from pc to mobile phone i.e. opposite direction. This works over wifi and is reliable.

I used to use this with my older oticon hearing aids comnected to my mobile phone so I could watch a video on laptop (rather than on mobile phone) but hear sound on mobile phone streaming to hearing aids direct.

This gives much better sound quality than just listening to laptop speakers via hearing aid microphones).

It should theoretically work in opposite direction as well i.e. do same as your tool but over wifi rather than bluetooth. I would need to test it.

I have never seen a focus rectangle appear inside my Quick Panel. Maybe it's because I made my own Galaxy with the QuickStar module from the Good Lock app.

Kind of a pain to get Sliders to sit vertical in the Quick Panel. You pretty much have to empty the entire grid to make room to expand the desired sliders both ways in order to tilt them..., then add all the other stuff back!!!

You don't have to empty anything. You can tap and hold to move an item to the bottom left corner of the grid where there's always enough available empty grid space, as the grid will automatically expand at the bottom edge. There, you can resize/reshape the item more easily. Next, you can just move the item again to put it wherever you like.
