Samsung One UI 8.5 Official Rollout Starts May 6, 2026

Samsung is expanding the One UI 8.5 rollout to more devices, bringing the latest Galaxy AI features across the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem. The update focuses on enhancing communication and creative experiences on Galaxy mobile phones and tablets, including the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Tab S11 series and Galaxy Tab S10 series.

One UI 8.5 will begin rolling out in Korea starting May 6 with additional regions to follow.

This would be the perfect solution if samsung Modes and Routines would accept google clock as an alarm. I have my modes and routines set, to disable airplane mode and do few other things as soon as the alarm is dismissed . it works with the samsung stock alarm and not with google :(

Yes. And still the same problem . Also after reinstalling I lost the small counter beneath the alarm that was showing how much time is left before the next snooze. not too important but it sucks. I searched online and it seems that lots of people are complaining about this issue for years!

Guys.. it's finally fixed!!! last night I uninstalled it and reinstalled it from google play. The problem was still there. But few minutes ago I went to this URL on Galaxy store on my phone and it proposed an update. after the update was downloaded and installed I checked and now the alarm is working as intended. It has been ringing nonstop for 9 minutes now!

I discovered today you can track airtags locally from android. You need to install an app like tfinder.

It is only le bluetooth precision not uwb, and it is very basic only showing distance accurate to 0.1m at best.

Still good enough if a friend with an iphone has mislaid their keys in your home say.

Unfortunately all the apps I found wanted hefty lease premiums to ring the tag. You could buy a smarttag or moto tag say for two months lease.

Handy thiugh if you want to secretly take friend's Porsche 911 for a spin but do not know where their keys are 🤣. (just joking fot avoidance if doubt).

Playstore shows its updated Clock to version 12.5.00.46 - 30 June 2025

Samsung updated to UI 8.5, on android 16 with security patch 6 May 2026 start of June this year and the phone Clock app is actually 12.5.60.27 and the phone reports software up to date
