Search Bar is not working.

Whenever i go to enter something in the search box in the taskbar a black screen comes up and a yellow scrolling bar goes along the top. I have checked for system file corruption etc but nothing is working. Does anyone have any solutions or fixes? See attached photo.

Welcome to the forum. I suggest you remove your email info from your screenshot. Use Paint to black it out.

My suggestions to try in no particular order (try #5 first)..

1. Restart computer.
2. Make sure running latest graphic driver.
3. see if same issue occurs in light theme.
4. reset windows search Reset Windows Search in Windows 11
5.Remove co-pilot and web from windows search Add or Remove Copilot and "Find results in Web" in Windows Search in Windows 11
