Alternative to Windows Search For Files + Duplicates Search

Alternative to the standard Search For Files And Folders module of Windows. Duplicates search is also supported.

If you would like to try it out and delete your duplicates, please back them up first. And then keep them for at least a couple of months just in case things go wrong.

I have never heard of Everything. I will certainly check it out as
it looks really useful. Thanks for sharing and also for the video.

For those high and mighty who have seen and done it all, I suggest you just move on. This thread is for newcomers and those who have not heard about it and would like to give it a go.

I for one wouldn’t mind recommending a backup software to a newcomer even if it has been discussed in this forum or any other forum
umpteen times before.

Isn’t what this forum is all about? Helping others.

There are many here who have helped me or explained to me things I didn’t know or misunderstood. These are the people I hold in high esteem.

So if you are not interested or if you think you know it all, stop reading and go to other topics that might interest you.

VoidTools Everything is good, but be aware that it needs to be run with admin rights to do its job.
